The Work Goes On

Once agreeing on a rough plan, the designer will finalize the design work and scope of the project. This includes responsibilities for demolition, construction, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, flooring, fixtures, appliances and more. We are full service design studios and are able to handle all of this, but we can also work with project partners that our clients may desire.

Much of the work is done in the background. Our designers will spend hours and days, working on their own and in concert with others in our studio designing, drawing, revising and debating possibilities. The goal is to create the finest product possible that will meet and exceed every one of our client's needs. At this time the designer will be able to create the final budget for the work that the client wants done.

The Review Meeting
At the review meeting we present the final plans and budget to our clients for approval. Some choose to add, delete or modify various aspects of the project. At the conclusion of the meeting, the designer may arrange for a visit to clients' home by some of our project partners, to be sure all is as we plan. This will circumvent any surprise elements in the project. A final proposal and budget is then drawn up for approval.

It is only after the client understands and approves the scope of the work, the final design and specifications, and the budget do we proceed. Then it's up to us to finish this project for you. We start ordering products, set schedules and finalize start dates. Then the work begins.

As you can see, at Cambridge Kitchens & Baths we don't simply drop a "pre-designed" kitchen on a client's home, making changes as we go, hoping that we can squeeze it into the space. We create the kitchen, bath or other room that the clients want, fitting it into the unique circumstances and design of their home. We know that they will be more than happy with the end product - all of our clients are!!
